Preliminary Exercise 6: Storyboarding Camerawork: Shot Sizes, Camera Angles, Framing, and Camera Composition Day 1

The film industry uses storyboards in the planning of movies because to visualize the scenes, plan a shooting schedule, save time, find problems that may happen while filming a scene, understand the price it may cost to understand. etc. Film production is the process of capturing motion pictures. Two really close friends. Camerawork is the way in which cameras are used in films. It is important for students directing films to understand why these techniques are important because it help them understand how filmmakers are able to capture the audience's attention and leave. The some of the categories of camerawork techniques I will be executing in this assignment are medium shot, wide shot, balanced composition. shoulder shot and so much more.

                                                                 Reflection

The media text that I created was storyboard. The purpose and goal of this assignment is that understand and learned the process filmmakers go through to create films. My team and I communicate on what the storyboard were going to be based on, shot sizes, camera angles, framing, and composition and the location of each scene. We had a total of 4 members on our team including myself. Which Dakota M, Jade S, Eunice D and lastly me. We all different task but would help each other on each other's task. Eunice and I did the drawing. Planning and research were done by all four members. The media tools that were used are a phone and computer which I would say that I'm both an intermediate at. In this exercise I learned how to plan scenes, capture different types of shots, teamwork and so much more.
