During our presentation to the other group, we were given an additional form to complete. This form focused on refining our movie concept and addressing any feedback we had received. It encouraged us to explore various aspects of our film, such as the plot, genre, theme, and its appeal to the audience. We also received valuable feedback on our presentation, which highlighted areas for improvement and offered suggestions on how to enhance our story. Furthermore, we were asked to provide suggestions to the pitching team on how they could improve their own presentation, considering elements like mise en scene, camerawork, and editing. Our movie, "After it All," delves into the theme of accepting one's flaws in a world of toxic and unconventional love, drawing inspiration from personal experiences. The main character, Sabrina, navigates the complexities of finding true love while facing the challenges of self-discovery. In the opening scene, our goal is to captivate the audience by immersing them in Sabrina's world and the emotional journey she embarks on.

Idea Part 2: Film Plan and Pitch
We were given a worksheet to help us with our movie pitch to another group of students. The worksheet covered different aspects of our film, starting with finding its main theme, like love, friendship, or coming of age, and encouraged us to explore more themes. Our movie is centered around a love triangle, inspired by personal experiences, showing the emotional chaos it brings to a young girl's life. To captivate the audience right from the beginning, we imagined an opening scene that introduces the main characters, Sabrina and her friends, as well as their rivals, Charlie and her clique. Sabrina's main goal is to navigate her emotions and relationships, making the best choices for herself despite the uncertainties she faces. Together with her friends, they confront obstacles like indecision and conflicting feelings, taking them on a journey to resolve their predicament.

Idea Part 1: Film Development
Film development is a crucial step in the filmmaking process where raw footage is transformed into a polished final product ready for distribution. This stage involves tasks like color correction, sound mixing, editing, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of the film. We were told to establish our genre, target audience, theme and other factors of our groups opening film. After discussing, we wanted our film to be a teen drama to target the teen/ young adult audience. We wanted to focus on topics like self-discovery, being confused or unsure about life choices, and even worrying about your future.
Through this exercise, I gained insight into the significance of effective communication and collaborative teamwork. Our team successfully collaborated on this project by assigning tasks according to individual strengths and abilities. We maintained regular communication through meetings and messaging to share updates and ask questions. Our research material was gathered from a variety of sources including online resources. I would say that our team did a great job on this assignment. Each member fulfilled their responsibilities effectively and contributed valuable insights to the project.
